First step

Mutual NDA required

01 — Target Markets

Who should license this technology.

Marine propulsion

01

The pressure foil's efficiency advantage at high forward speeds makes it directly relevant to performance recreational craft, patrol vessels, and electric hydrofoil platforms. The lowest regulatory barrier of any sector.

Immediate priority

Brunswick / Mercury Marine · Yamaha Marine · Volvo Penta · Torqeedo

Defense — USV and UUV

02

No propeller blade cavitation gives the pressure foil a potential low acoustic signature advantage for unmanned surface and underwater vehicle applications. SBIR joint development programs available.

Near-term

Textron Systems · L3Harris Technologies · Northrop Grumman · Kongsberg Maritime

Aerospace and eVTOL

03

Electric aircraft and urban air mobility platforms requiring sustained propulsive efficiency at speeds where conventional rotor effectiveness diminishes. CFD validated from 520 mm to 6,000 mm diameter.

Long-term

CFD data covers small-craft to ship-scale configurations

02 — What You Receive

What the licensee gets.

Exclusive or non-exclusive rights to manufacture and sell products using US Patent 11,518,443 — the control system that makes pressure foil propulsion commercially deployable.

Full SimScale CFD dataset — 277+ simulations covering pressure foil diameters from 520 mm to 6,000 mm, with velocity magnitude visualisations, thrust output, power consumption, and efficiency metrics for each configuration.

Physical prototype test data — full onboard telemetry logs (RPM, voltage, amperage, temperature), GoPro footage of the 1,346-metre run, and the stationary 80 lb thrust test documentation.

Engineering drawings, control system specifications, and material specifications from the PF900 prototype program.

Technical consultation from inventor Steve Quinn during the initial integration period.

Priority access to any future continuation patents and technology improvements developed by Quinn Aerospace.

03 — How to Proceed

The licensing process.

01

Sign a mutual NDA

A mutual non-disclosure agreement is required before sharing the full confidential pitch document, CFD dataset, or prototype test data. The NDA template is available through Kelly and Kelley LLP, Burbank, California.

02

Review the pitch document

A full technical pitch document is provided under NDA — covering the technology in detail, CFD results, physical test data, patent coverage, and indicative licensing terms.

03

Technical briefing

Schedule a call with Steve Quinn to discuss the technology, CFD dataset, and integration requirements for your platform or product line.

04

Term sheet and due diligence

Agree indicative licensing terms — exclusivity, territory, royalty rate, and upfront fee. Full technical documentation and prototype data made available for engineering team review.

05

Execute the license agreement

Licensing agreement executed with legal counsel. Integration support begins. Royalty schedule commences on first commercial sale.
